This route deep-dive covers everything: optimal path, frame-perfect tricks, charm choices, RNG management, and the current world record holder's setup.

The optimal route through 100% Standard category requires careful chapter-by-chapter planning:
Open with the tutorial sequence as fast as the game allows. Skip optional dialogue. Pickups: only required items. Use the Silencer 9 starter as designed. Avoid Mr. Raccoon collectibles (unless 100%). Speedrun-critical: the bridge sequence at 28:00 mark has a 4-frame window for the optimal jump.
Hotel boss requires Charm setup. For 100% category specifically, the boss strategy is highly optimized. Sub-strategy: aggressive parry-counter usage with Mortal Edge if available; otherwise W870 Police shotgun headshot stagger pattern.
Vivien Stage 1: weakness is crit headshot pattern. Use Marksman's Eye charm equipped. Speedrun-specific: avoid the optional research note reading (saves 90 seconds). Speedrunners go directly to the Plant 43 mini-boss area.
Vivien Stage 2 + Nurse Kim boss fights. Frame-perfect Mortal Edge parries are essential. The community has documented exact i-frame windows. For 100% category, this is where most run-killing deaths happen.
Painting puzzle solution: code 560 (well-known). Manor combat is largely optional — speedrunners skip 60% of encounters with strategic running. Rhodes Hill Doctor boss: weakness is knife counter.
RPD section reuses RE2 Remake routing. Mr. X chase: take the alternate route through Library to skip 4 minutes. Titan Spinner: rocket launcher 1-shot if NG+ available.
Final puzzles + Commander X1 phase 1. The Commander has a documented spawn pattern that's exploitable. Plant 43 reappears with new attack patterns — counter strategy differs from chapter 3.
Final boss Eveline has 4 phases. Frame-perfect counters on phases 3 and 4 are essential. Specific charm: Phoenix Down on phase 4 is meta. The True Ending route requires specific dialogue at the end.
