FAQ β€” RE9 NG+ Carryover

Q: Do I keep my weapon upgrades in NG+?
A: Yes. All weapons carry over at maxed-out tier-3 stats. You don't need to re-upgrade anything.

Q: Does the Requiem Revolver become Infinite automatically?
A: No. You unlock the Infinite Requiem Revolver charm but must equip it. It uses a charm slot.

Q: Do collectibles like Antique Coins respawn in NG+?
A: No β€” they do NOT respawn. Once collected in NG, they are gone. NG+ adds 3 new collectibles not present in the first run.

Q: What about my First Aid sprays and ammo?
A: All consumables reset to 0. You start NG+ with your weapons but no ammo. Plan accordingly.

Q: Can I switch difficulty in NG+?
A: Yes. NG+ allows any difficulty choice. Many players go straight to Insanity NG+ for the full experience.

Q: Does NG+ work across PS5 and Steam saves?
A: No. NG+ is per-platform per-save. Cloud sync doesn't bridge platforms.

Q: How many NG+ playthroughs for Platinum?
A: Minimum 3 β€” first Standard NG, then Insanity NG+, then a speedrun. See our Platinum guide.

Q: Will RE10 keep this NG+ system?
A: Director Nakanishi confirmed NG+ is a franchise standard. Specific items unconfirmed.
